Invited by IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan last week to inspire, encourage, and judge games developed by about 100 students.
Why is it so special??
Jodhpur is my hometown, a city I left decades ago as it always felt like the city was not moving with time and lacked any opportunity whatsoever for perfect education.
I was thrilled to see IITJ hosting such an event and making AR, VR, #metaverse videogames as topics of discussion & also making the gamejam a part of all India gathering of great minds.
Kudos to Manas Bairagi for driving such a great initiative. It was fun hanging out with gurus like Dr. Aloknath De Dr. Amit Bhardwaj and of course all the students of various IITs and various other institutes.
Two of the games were such mind-boggling that they have the huge potential of building entire empire around them and I’ll be closely watching them.
